AMPATUAN MASSACRE UPDATE
OFFICERS of the National Press Club headed by Pres. Paul Gutierrez gets an update on the 2009 ‘Ampatuan Massacre’ in Maguindanao that claimed the lives of 58 people, 32 of them journalists, from Atty. Nena Santos during their board meeting last January 4, 2017. The NPC later on turned over to Santos the amount of P50,000 equally divided to the nine families of journalists victims as assistance and who are still pursuing the fight for justice. The amount was raised from the benefit concert organized by the NPC last November 23, 2016, to commemorate the massacre. TULOY ANG LABAN PARA SA KATARUNGAN!
