NPC Educational Assistance Program continues

21 BENEFICIARIES of the ‘College Education Assistance Program’ of the National Press Club for the children of its members pose with NPC officers after receiving their financial assistance in the amount of P5,000 each. The occasion was held at the NPC office last March 15, 2017.

Of the beneficiaries, the NPC is also pleased to announce that Leo dela Torre, National College of Business and Arts (son of People’s Journal reporter Joel dela Torre), Rassel Manahan, University of Caloocan (daughter of the late Casper Manahan) and, Joana Marie Sicat, Lyceum of the Philippines University (daughter of Senate reporter Jojo Sicat), are to finally graduate from their respective courses this May.

In his brief message, Pres. Gutierrez remarked that, “Despite the NPC’s financial difficulties, we credit our efforts to all our officials who not only work hard to sustain our educational and assistance program but even expand it to serve you better.”

“We are also very grateful to our partners who continue to help our programs and advocacies. We hope that our efforts will inspire other stakeholders in helping the NPC subsidize the education of our members and their children,” said Gutierrez.
