NPC inducts the new officers of the Nueva Ecija Press Club

INDUCTION OF OFFICERS.

National Press Club of the Philippines (NPC) president, Paul M. Gutierrez, administers the oath of office to the newly-elected officers of the Nueva Ecija Press Club (NEPC) headed by its president, Gina Magsanoc Caling (3rd from left) held at the La Parilla Hotel, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, last January 16, 2017. Other special guests during the occasion are former Nueva Ecija governor, Aurelio ‘Oyie’ Umali (besides Caling), NPC director Lydia Bueno (4th from right) and Nueva Ecija police director, Senior Supt. Antonio Yarra. The former governor also received recognition for his strong support for the members of the press in the province in particular and freedom of the press in general. Laust year and despite already vowing out of office, Umali funded the putting up of a 2-storey building in Cabanatuan for the exclusive use of the NEPC.

NPC ASSISTANCE.

Officers of the Nueva Ecija Press Club (NEPC) happily acknowledge the cash “gift” of P10,000 given by the National Press Club of the Philippines (NPC) to the group on the occasion of the NEPC’s swearing-in ceremony last January 16, 2017 in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
